We would like to use this letter as an opportunity to help you to get to know us. We are Kris and Missy and we met in the summer of 1998 at a church picnic. Our first conversation was on opposite sides of a volleyball net, and our friendship and relationship grew from there. We were married a year later and live in Missoula, MT. We moved into our first home five years ago, and it has plenty of room for a child as well as a yard for him or her to play in. We live an easy, fun, satisfying and healthy lifestyle, and enrich our lives through travel, reading and education. We have been teaching ten years, and consider ourselves lucky to be a part of young peoples' lives everyday. CarolRae teaches a combined fourth/fifth grade class. John teaches math and history at Bozeman High School's alternative program. We both love our work, and put a lot into our teaching; because we both believe in the power of learning to shape our students' future - plus, the kids we teach are dynamic, fun and keep us learning!
